I have always found that site kind of fun.

I did some tracking a few times (not for people) while on safari in Africa. It is amazing how quickly you can pick up the basics when you have a good guy to teach you.

The Art of Manliness just has a corny adult boy scout theme. But you'd have trouble finding a better resource on the internet for most of the topics they cover. They're solid.

But the name... It makes me think of craft beers and artisan breads [and not in a good way] and of new vinyl records and ukulele jam sessions [not that there is ever a good way to think of ukuleles].
