Cool... once I have your character info, I'll get your hunter(s) on that island. Maybe Reaver's hunters will swim ashore by Monday. (I mean next time he's free to post on MS.)

Season 2 will start soon. In the meantime, I posted a hint about how to let me know where you are in the game.

Each numbered are on the map has up to nine sections: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW and C (center). The tourist map is not very accurate, so you won't always know what you'll find in each section until you travel there.

As far as how fast you can go... well... let's worry about that when there are more than 2 areas on the map.

The map will be updated soon. In the meantime, feel free to explore the areas. Be gentle with the panicky tourists.

I added two new strengths and two new weaknesses to the list.
Strengths
  • Eagle Eye-can see further than the average Hunter
  • Tracking-can follow tracks easier
  • Man-Hunter-can find humanoid beings easier
  • Beast-Hunter-can find beast-like creatures easier
  • Hawker-can uses hawks for better hunting
  • Hounder-can use hounds for better hunting
  • Survivalist-can stay in the wilderness longer than others
  • Powerful-is uniquely strong and can take down enemies with brute strength
  • Quick Draw-is uniquely fast and can take down enemies with speed
  • Perceptive-notices subtle noises, odors, and sights that can help them
  • Medic-can dress the wounds of another person
  • Marathon Runner-can move faster along the map
  • Escape Artist-can run away from a fight
  • The Power of Meat!-energized after cooking and eating a freshly killed beast
  • Moral Outrage-energized when hunting evil men or beasts who prey on the helpless

Weaknesses

  • Lack of Direction-can get lost rather easily
  • Silver Spoon-perhaps too spoiled in real life to have any idea how hunting really works
  • Weak Stomach-gets easily rattled or unnerved
  • Bad Eyes-can't see very well
  • Untrained-although may use a weapon, is not especially well-trained with it
  • Blood Lust-loses sight of the prey due to over-enthusiasm
  • Heavy Boots-doesn't know how to be quiet in the wilderness
  • Timid-takes too long to take a shot or take out the prey
  • Big Partier-has to have a giant group with him or her at all times, making hunting cumbersome
  • Vulnerable to Elements-not cut out for extreme heat or extreme cold
  • Recklessness-rushes into battle too quickly
  • Showoff-wastes time in confrontations by making witty remarks and cool poses
  • Lop-Sided-has an eye patch, peg leg, hook hand or some other reason for being weaker on one side
  • The Flask is Half Empty-judgment clouded as a result of heavy drinking
  • Soft Spot-judgment clouded when innocents are in danger, especially ________*
*(specific soft spot chosen by player, e.g. "damsels in distress" or "when someone is drowing")
Never underestimate The Power of Meat!

(The link goes to a Valentine's Day 2011 animation, which I've posted before. Click if you haven't seen it. Or even if you have, I won't stop you from clicking it. Heck, I made it and I've already clicked this link myself.)

EDIT - Edited str #15 and weakness #14.

One note on weakness #14: I removed the word "always" from the name of the weakness to allow more room for interpretation. "The Flask is Half Empty" could mean that your character is a heavy drinker, or he/she just can't hold his/her liquor.

A note on weakness #15: I added a second example of how "Soft Spot" can work. It could be a soft spot for a specific type of victim (such as damsels in distress), but it could also be a soft spot for any kind of victim in a specific kind of danger (such as when someone is drowning).
