Great writer. If you've seen a lot of the original Twilight Zone series, then you've probably seen adaptations of some of his work. I'm in the middle of a book of his short stories now, and heard the news of his passing this afternoon.

Indeed. Interesting to know, He wrote the I Am Legend novel. I may have to pick that up.
I read I am Legend years ago. It's about novella length and I think I read it in like a week. One of my favorite horror/post-apocalyptic stories of all time. Not a fan of the Will Smith version, although I do like Will Smith. The book focuses more on the isolation and daily routine of dealing with the vampires, a pretty unique approach at the time. Matheson will be missed. RIP.
