Here's a website I found with information on the medieval era, including articles, maps, images, timelines, etc. I cannot say as to the veracity of the source, but I have found it to be useful in my writing.

It's part of my online course, but it's open to everyone. I have another site on the Reformation and one on the Late Middle Ages and one on Western Civ (up to 1650).
