Hello. I am currently writing a fantasy novel, with magic and demi-humans and the like, and this forum struck me as a place that could help me write those things realistically.

Thank you everyone for your responses. At present I feel out of my depth, lacking specific knowledge of medieval warfare and other topics. I do have a strong background in science, though, so I hope I am able to contribute some in that regard.
