Sounds a lot like another writer, Robert Heinlein, who incorporated the original (and better) acronym TANSTAAFL into his work ("There Ain't Not Such Thing As A Free Lunch).
I got a strange, warm, fuzzy feeling when I read step 1.
It was probably the mental image of me and one of my main characters standing back-to-back and looking ever so cool.

I suppose anything worthwhile like a dream is made nearly impossible to attain because otherwise, everyone would be a success story. I draw a similarity to the free-market economy—in the game of business, there are winners and there are losers. The economy simply can't afford a nation of billionaires. For me, even the smallest chance of doing something that I love gives me the motivation to strive to be my own Cinderella story.
