I'm late and struggling

I had created an account about a year ago but never found the time to check back on it for some reason. Probably because I forgot shortly after making my screen name.

I'm a recent graduate from college with an english degree, and would want nothing more than to be a classical fantasy writer. I know, sounds silly, but just because the genre has magic and dragons in doesn't mean it shouldn't be out of a kid's required summer reading list.

I'm struggling because I haven't really gotten my name out yet, let alone found a good job. I've taken up ghostwriting, but the pay's kind of... abysmal. I like it from time to time, but it's also rather stressful in hindsight.
