How long does it take to get promoted?

I've been using this thing for about three days now and I have yet to be promoted to acolyte...did I miss something or am I not seeing something..plz assist?

As posted in this thread,

A few things unlock at 5 posts - such as editing posts, a custom signature, I believe posting images - and there can be about an hour delay before the system updates with your promotion. The other ranks are just for show and everything is automatic.

YoShoKenDai, at 17 posts you're already above Acolyte.
