Io was Wilbur's ex, Zeus took Wilbur's form and seduced her, and Hera turned her into a cow.

The man in white was actually lying. He had no way of knowing what Hera did. He just knew his knife didn't like Wilbur and needed Jenny to leave him for a virgin. Knowing of Wilbur's fling at the age of 15 might not have gotten Jenny to leave, but beastiality sure is gross. Vin was sold on the same lie, but after having his throat slit by his leader, Vin decided to take Wilbur's word over the chief's.

One hour until show time!

While dancing is happening in game...

Here are my daughters dressed up for next week's performance. First year all three are on stage!

Hannah was the only student in her class who knew all the moves. (Bragging, yes. Sorry.) When she was given a bouquet of roses, she held it up the way Link holds up the Master Sword and yelled, "I GOT MY FIRST FLOWERRRR!" She then ran up to the owner of the studio and said, "I GOT A FLOWERRRR!" and repeated this to total strangers and my parents.

They let her keep the toy dog, too.

Amelia's class went on right after Hannah's with the music having started before they were on stage! They did awesome getting into their positions, and looked confident. Amelia (standing/glasses) did two acts. We love her qipao-themed outfit.

Sabina ("lunge" pose) was genuinely happy on the stage and had this energy you could feel from the seats. During the finale, she was joyfully bouncing to the music and ducking and waving as the curtain fell.

The whole production is very professional. When you see the older kids, it's hard to believe everyone is 18 or under. The teens were doing solos and team dances that all won an award or two, and I was completely blown away by an act called "Steam Punk." The dancers all had gears spirit-glued to their faces, genuinely creepy expressions, and they were basically like constructs all malfunctioning and surviving in some kind of dystopian nightmare to the tune of Pure Imagination. (Fiona Apple's rendition, I think.)

@Ireth,

Double-six!! Leto can jump from the dragonfly to a more powerful animal (without having to re-roll), giving her the choice to fight as a beast instead of shooting. If I roll a 12, you are forced to be Leto again. Otherwise, we'll see whether your double-six pays off!

@LS: was Kell's animal summons responsible for the eagle and mountain lion? Because the appearance of the eagle and lion seems to be more in relation to Ireth's roll of 12, but then nothing seems to have come in response to Kell's summons either, and I'm a bit confused.

If Kell summoned them, she can command the lion. If she didn't, my roll of 8 should have been good enough to summon SOMETHING.

The eagle was about to be eaten by a mountain lion. Kell saved it by summoning birds. So far, she only notices one bird, but it's currently under Leto's control.

Only Leto can command the mountain lion by beast-speaking, though she needs to switch animals to do that.

I hope I've been rolling right to make the eagle attack. If I should be rolling for Beast-speaking rather than attacks, do let me know.

2d6 is fine for eagle. The bird is harmless vs. mountain lion and Phoenix, but the mountain lion took off and the Phoenix is on your side. Wood weapons, fists and claws are not good weapons for fighting fire creatures. If the masked men stab the Phoenix, the stone spearhead will hurt a fire creature but the wooden handles will be engulfed. They can pick up spears from dead friends to remain armed.

I may need to display the number of spears in the battle.

FYI, the quote Kell makes come from Brandon Sanderson/Robert Jordan in the final book of the Wheel of Time series, A Memory of Light, I just wasn't sure how to attribute it in another fantasy world, so I just decided Kell couldn't remember who said it. The scene this quote comes from is not where the series hero takes on the series bad guy - err, bad god - but it's my favorite scene in the entire series, where a supporting character takes on the enemy general, not to beat him, but to sacrifice his own life in order to kill him, and this brash act of courage winds up changing the entire flow of the war being fought. Good stuff!

So just to make sure I have this right before Leto acts again... she already fired one Warning Shot, so her hand cannon still has five bullets left, yes?

Since spells take two rounds to cast, I made my GM post just after Leto fired her warning shot. She'll need to reload before firing again.

As for Kell, she can use the spears to attack the lava demon to avoid burning her staff. She just needs to pick up a spear and thrust. The wooden handle burns up as it hits th eLava Demon, so we'll assume she hurls the spear or lets go after thrusting. She won't need all twenty spears with such an army fighting the monster, so she has all the weapons she needs. I won't bother counting them. We can assume Kell and others are constantly circling to avoid getting roasted, so there's always a spear in Kell's reach.

No. Gotta reload. Special shots use all six chambers.

Th good news is that because of that shot, all three men on the south side were unable to help the lava demon fight. Kell's entangle spell took out the others. Between the two of you, you prevented the boss from having minions just in time.

Only his head is out now, so this isn't a bad turn to reload.

She's on the ground now. In case you didn't figure it out, the bone knife is made from the demon's fangs. His attacks hurt virgins! (Damage = number rolled.)

I did figure that out. ^^ Nice detail!

EDIT: Whoops, looks like I ninja'd Kell. Leto doesn't need to be saved, but she appreciates the concern!

Is there any trick to making the Health Roll work on others? And is there a way to make sure the entangled men DON'T get healed?
