I don't know if this was intentional or not, but there was this TV show from the mid 70s to early 80s called Laverne and Shirley. Shirley's last name was Feeney, which is darn close to Fine, but Laverne's last name was DaFazio. You gave LaVerne the last name of Fine, and I was expecting Shirley to have a last name close to DaFazio.

You can tell I'm posting on my phone when I give on italics. It's so difficult to select text, then you get the copy-paste options obscuring the BIU buttons. Not worth it. You know fairies have weird voices anyway, so they don't need to be italicized.

I don't want the game bogged down too much by your inability to speak duck. You can ask Daphne's in-game friend(s) if they can understand her.

I think duck calls used by hunters are designed to mimic mating calls, so Sigrlinn might NOT want to attempt speaking duck.

Yeah… I hate trying to post by phone. I don't use Tapatalk though. I access MS in full site mode so it looks like it does on my laptop. I actually don't care for mobile-friendly versions of sites. I'd rather access the normal version and zoom and pan a lot.

Details later, but basically magic will be based heavily on tbgg's idea:

Lv.1 - cast water/plant/wind/light on environment
Lv.2 - cast ice/stone/lightning/fire on weapon or arrow
Lv.3 - monstress transformation
Lv.4 - cast ice/plant/lightning/light on clothing
Lv.5 - cast ice/stone/lightning/fire on environment
Lv.6 - ???
Lv.7 - ???

The ONLY difference from tbgg's suggestion is that I added a mermaid tail to Underwater Breathing.


I'm also going to have a few extra uses for each class:

Huntress - cast the element into an object to create a magical trap. (Lv.1 spell)
Amazon - dual wield magic weapons (two Lv.2 spells)
Fairy - tiny transformations (Lv.3 spell)
Nymph - additional benefit to magical clothing (Lv.4 spell)

I might be overthinking things, but I'm not sure it's a good idea for Sigrlinn to cast lightning magic on an arrow that's going through a waterfall. Wouldn't the lightning zap anything in the water?

I'm not 100% sure how to answer the question about shock traps. I recall Sig using one in the earlier acts (against the breel, if I remember right), but I'm not sure if that's been retconned out with the new rules about traps and stuff. It was a pre-made trap anyway, not something she made herself. She just set it off.

Then 'no' works since the trap was premade. I'm basically having an NPC teach a new mechanic, though you can easily guess the skill/die roll needed.

It was a lot of words that didn't really need to be stated. I stealth edited, but... probably not quickly enough.
