Yep, you can't just stay and hit, hehe. It may not be the better dpser or anything, but it's a hella fun class to play (except when you're lagged >.<), give it a try!

I still haven't seen many thieves around, except... WvW. Lately I've been exploring these maps and leveling there and I've learnt to hate thieves. Sometimes five thieves just stay in the middle of the map, waiting to ambush people leaving the garrison.

I haven't played in a couple of months so I don't remember which server i'm on but I have a lvl 80 engineer named Tink. If I get time today I will try to edit with server.

I'll have to give it a try then. I'm eager to try Engineer as well. I gave Mesmer a go - it was alright, but it wasn't as fun as I'd hoped. Didn't enjoy Elementalist either for some reason.

Elementalist has a steep learning curve, so I recommend picking your weapon(s) and sticking with it till you get all the skills in each element learned. Myself, I like staff, but I've known elementalists who swore by dual daggers or another combo.

I also don't really care for mesmer, but engineer can be a lot of fun.

If there was a MS Guild, I would change servers and join it as quick as I could. For any of the MMO games.

I played this in Beta and then a ton once it finally went live. Got to level cap (can't remember if it was 60 or 80?) and then stopped playing after the event where the big airship was going from city to city.

Is it worth coming back? I just got back into playing Rift again, and I wouldn't mind playing GW2 again if there were good reasons to return.

Not sure what the level cap was in beta but it's 80 now.

As far as if it's worth it to come back, that's something only you can decide. I'll keep an eye out for any of their free trial weekends and you can jump back in during one of those so you're not out any money. :)

No need - I bought the collector's edition when it came out. I can come back whenever, just wondering how much they've expanded things since the events right after Xmas this past year.

I had basically found the dyes I wanted, leveled my armorsmithing and weaponsmithing to max levels, hit the level cap (pretty sure I'm at 80, as I think that's been the level cap all along?), and got bored of running fractals (and I'm not even sure what I was aiming for by running fractals).

It just seemed like ArenaNet had struggled to deliver on the whole "no true end-game" but tons of stuff to do all the time thing.

Have they added new armor recipes to create (outside of the insanely expensive legendary stuff)?

I really enjoyed the game, but just ran out of things to bring back every day.

I haven't really explored the armor recipes yet. Crafting is one area I really need to work on.

If there's enough interest in an MS Guild, I'll start one.

Reply here or PM me.

But I'm surprised there isn't a guild community for games in general yet. A lot of guilds are multi-game, so I don't see why Mythic Scribes couldn't be the same - and Mythic Scribes will always be an epic guild name, in my opinion.

For that matter, I'd be happy to start a Mythic Scribes guild in any of the games I play regularly. :D

For some reason, I have an image in my head of Final Fantasy XIV and an army of Bards for a guild. If anyone wants to do a guild in FFXIV, I'd happily start a new char on a server for it.

I've been playing a lot of GW2 lately. Finally got my first character, Norn Guardian, to 80. Working on a second, Human Elementalist, who is currently 50. Plus I've made a few low level characters: Norn Necromancer, Sylvari Ranger and Human Mesmer.

I've been having a lot of fun, getting into events in Orr and whatnot and enjoying my Guardian's personal story. I think of the 3 MMOs I've played (WoW, LOTRO and GW2) this one has by far the best storytelling.

For some reason, I always enjoyed the fifteen first levels (playing as a Charr) but past this limit, I was hit a riff and stopped promptly playing. I guess the zone north of the Charr's capital city is a hell-hole...
