The captain replies, "It's the life we chose. We knights keep the villages safe; you huntresses keep 'em fed. Though after seeing what you can do with just a knife, I think you're as formidable as an amazon, if you don't mind me saying."

Sigrlinn smiles, cleaning the blade of her knife on the hem of her dress before sheathing it. "Thank you. I'm much more comfortable with a bow, but it was left behind in Sardis. Hopefully I can get back there soon to pick it up."

Ch.6: "Bob Oracle's Inferno" / The Underworld

Remembering the promise she made to Demeter, Kell tells Captain Windu, "We have a few theories about who is behind both the bark-bites and the force rallying against the Amazons, but are not presently at liberty to speak of it. I am very sorry for your losses, but the need to fight is not likely to be over just yet. I would strongly urge you to get your people to a safer place, if at all possible. We have rather a lot of business with Hera, and we are hoping for some level of aid from her about all of this, although we don't know her well enough to be certain of what kind of response we are likely to get. Are the bark-bites the only creatures you've had trouble with, or have there been others?"

Captain Windu shakes his head. "I don't have people. I have a person."

Regarding other monsters, Squire McMoughin says, "We took out a squad of Sha-dorks."

"Shadow Orcs," says the Captain. Looking down at the broken shield and the few scattered shards of armor that surround it, he adds, "Sir Jackson always did like to name our foes. Sir Jackson V. Michael came from a long line of proud warriors, but the line ends with him. And this company ends with this battle, provided we don't need to defend ourselves.

"Aegon and I will gladly escort you to Hesperides. Safety in numbers, right? After that—" He turns to McMoughin. "—you choose between a farmer's life or train hard with that sword, boy."

((I like to skip the boring parts, so you can post here to keep talking to the knights if you want to, or post to………

Kell tells Aegon with a smile, "I thank you for your kind assistance, Squire McMoughan. If your desire is to continue to fight, I suspect we know someone who could help you with your training. At the very least, he could help you find a new trainer if he cannot take the task on himself. But the choice is, of course, up to you."

((I'll take +1 ATK!))
