High Five dances around, swinging her sword with Kell-Pi's might. Apollo deflects the attacks easily, and he even deflects some of the golden globes of light fired from Honni's gun (which look like what little suns would look like if the sun were the sphere of flame it appears to be from afar)...
...but Sigrlinn is a huntress with the sharp eyes of a fairy. She gets a shot between Helios' eyes, and another, and another! Each hit is accompanied by an explosion, the third jerking Helios' head back so hard, nuts and bolts fly off!
"You," Apollo says more snidely than noticeably agitated. "Did my sister murder a fairy so you could hide in her body? I suppose you delivered the message. I have no reason to kill you, then."
He says this, but Helios radiates a beam from his eyes.
((Defend:
INSTINCT #4E5 = Dive!
or GRACE #3E5 = Force Field!
...then Attack: INSTINCT #4X3 = Shoot!))
Kelleia
Kell starts to feel the world around her. "Rise an--" Heph's voice is cut off as Kell dozes off.
Kell tells herself, 'Come on, Kell. You made a stink to get your body back, and you failed your friends. Don't shame yourself by leaving them to do all the work.'
Kell can tell this effort is much stronger than her previous one. But is it enough?
The beam is quick, but Sigrlinn anticipates the move! "Nice move!" Penni shouts.
Helios follows MH5's dive, deflecting sword dance and gunfire--until the 5th shot connects--followed by another shot that blows Helios' head clean off!
Apollo stands at the exposed helm.
"You will pay dearly for that."
Helios rocket-propels straight down at you!
((POWER #1E5 = Pull Up!
GRACE #3E5 = Force Field - you only have one
...attack only if your defense roll is at least a 1))
Helios grabs Mile-High Five! Rockets burst from the golden machine's backside. It drives the metal giantess into (and through) the roof of PlatBot Mansion! Chunks of marble fly everywhere! Columns roll into the sea! Nude statues of Aphrodite tumble in an oddly Sapphic manner just before they explode into rubble!
"Systems at 66.7%," Penni says.
She then has Kell-Pi thrust the silver sword into Helios. The blade strikes harmlessly, but pushes Helios off.
Honni's arm aims its golden gun, but she trusts Sigrlinn's aim more than her own.
((Just shoot!))
Kelleia
Kell wakes to a loud rumbling and Heph looking at her rather strangely. Heph slumps over with a knife in his back. The blade has a strange black glow about it. Waves of darkness dance around the blade where light is getting sucked into it.
The man standing over Heph has melted wings fused to his back. He doesn't notice Kell. His eyes are locked onto Nikki, the tiny iMaiden who now has one leg, thanks to Heph's final act in his current mortal body. The winged man is about to smash the tiny robot with a hammer.
((POWER = #2X3 / GRACE = #4X3 / INSTINCT = #1X3
Post your action and roll what attribute makes sense!))
Sigrlinn fires!—blasting a hole through Helios' chest! MH5 follows with a sword attack, chopping off an arm, a leg, and she goes for Apollo himself with the third strike, but the Olympian deflects the blade with his golden bracer—even though the blade is twice as long as the immortal is tall!
"I am immortal," he says. "In case you're having trouble understanding what separates us…"
He takes his bow and quickly looses a volley of arrows.
((That first combo hit should be 2X3 —not 8X3! But I'll say you successfully cast Blades of Ice, then got an attack in. The first two dice on your 8X3 roll are hits. I actually have the drawn nymph using ice skates as weapons, but you can have a sword of ice or a mace or an ice pick……er…………get it? Basically, you can have any bladed weapon of your choice. You can also use Power to hurl ice javelins if we're ever in a situation where you're better off shooting.
I'll GM post later, but just wanted to clarify: on custom dice, the combo trigger would be rolling a 2. On virtual dice, it's a messy "6x2" or the number of "6s" rolled on Rolz.))
Mile-High Five cartwheels out of the way of Apollo's arrows!
Penni says, "That was so AWESOME!"
You feel kind of dizzy from all the cartwheeling. If you can shake off the feeling, you might be able to see straight and shoot.
((DEF: GRACE #3E5 - Shake off Dizziness!
ATK: #4X3, of course!))
Kelleia
The ice blade slashes the man who murdered Heph. He leaves tiny Nikki alone for now, seeing a much bigger target is after him.
Though Kell was naked in the bed, her Blades of Ice spell clothed her instantly (the same way a nymph named Elsa often dressed herself). The clothing might make Kell look amazing, but the man before her just sees a person getting in his way. She and the tiny robots are witnesses, and he can't have that.
"You and the tiny robots are witnesses," he says, "and I can't have that."
He takes a swing with his hammer!
((DEF: POWER #2E5 - Block the hammer!
ATK: GRACE #4X3 - Attack with blades of ice!
Possible Ice Effect:
If you combo AND your combo roll is at least a 1, you can attempt a minor effect. Combo twice for a major effect.
Minor = ice slick / Major = freeze, unless you think of something else ice can do, like freeze feet to floor for minor.))
((Wow—you're rolling 5+ EVERY TURN! All of Penni/Kell-Pi's attacks that bounced were 4s.))
Sigrlinn blasts the remaining arm and leg off of Helios. With no means of propelling itself, the machine crashes to the ground. With might only an Olympian could possibly conjure, Apollo hurls Helios' torso at Mile-High Five!
((DEF: INSTINCT #4E5 - Roll a 1 = dodge. roll a 2 = catch!
ATK: INSTINCT #4X3 - Shoot -OR- #4X3hurl torso if you caught it!))
Kelleia
The man is stuck in place for now. Dimki takes Nikki in her one arm, and the two tiny iMaidens take cover.
The man glares at you, flailing ineffectively with his hammer before smashing the ice around his foot. "Eyowwww!" he says. He's still stuck to the floor, and in pain!
((No need to defend!
#2X3 = POWER = ranged attack: throw ice javelin, or whatever ice projectile you prefer #4X3 = GRACE = melee attack: slash with blade
The man can only hit back if you attack with melee.))
