Cannot make paragraph breaks in posts

My posts end up becoming one big blob of text no matter how often I edit them to fix it.

Works in this thread but it wouldn't work in a paste from my novel. Let me try taking out the formatting in that post.

It' an opening paragraph in the chit chat game. Removing the formatting fixed the issue.
