I wanted to test the die roller, since I haven't done that yet.

How do we replenish health?

I mean, other than Rydh healing us. Also, is there a certain time (in game or in real life) that Rydh gets his mana back? Yes, I am asking so he can use up his points to heal those in need. Healers need to practice, though, don't they?

Steerpike's rules for Mana regeneration are listed in the "Magic" sticky thread. I'm not sure how long it takes to replenish HP naturally over time. Don't worry too much, though. As long a Rydh draws breath, he'll put healing above all else. He'll even stop combat if the situation is bad enough.

If you can get a solid 7 or 8 hours of rest, you get back hit points at a rate of 1 + CON MOD + LEVEL per day. That's my house rule. The system calls for 1 HP per day, I think, but that can get pretty brutal when the party is on long treks somewhere dangerous and out of magic.

Well, even an average CON mod means you get 2 HP, which is better than getting 1 HP.

Oh... that actually means if we rested after the first battle, you got some HP back if not all.

Did we rest on the ship? I'm assuming the tavern sleepy time was not even close to 7 hours.

One full night passed between the battle on the ship and the arrival in Srilkind, so I went under the assumption that everyone rested. We'll say the fire started late enough in the night that everyone got to rest again, so assume two days worth of HP recovery before the fire. No need to be too hard on the characters :)

online die roller note:
If your bored and want to play around,
you can play yatzee
repeat 5(or number of dice you reroll) 1d6
repeat 5 1d6
Look in MSTest1, I played a few rounds. First time I tried it I got yatzee. Of course that was before I went to mstest.

great die site.
