Justice League Trailer

Dark Lord
Hah, that looks fun.

Did they learn the lesson of X-Men Quicksilver vs Avengers Quicksilver? :D

Ok, yes, I'm a Marvel fanboy. But I love DC characters also, just haven't been terribly impressed lately by the execution.

It does look pretty great. Let's just hope they fire Hack Snyder before too much of it gets made.

Why is Zack a hack? I know many people think he did a bad job with BvS, but did you see the extended edition yet? From all the reviews, it's a much better film.

I like the different take on Aquaman, or at least, who I'm assuming to be Aquaman.

Actually this badass version of Aquaman has been around for quite a while. In the nineties, I believe, he got a major overhaul. From the music it seems they're taking some cues from the old Justice league cartoon.

The new cut has lots more Lex Luthor and yeah... IMHO not an improvement over all. There's no saving that performance.

Why is Zack a Hack? Have you seen Man of Steel? Only Snyder could take a positive, upbeat character like Superman and turn him into a grim, brooding, wannabe Batman. I've seen the extended cut of Batman v. Superman and in my opinion it makes for an even more incoherent, jumbled mess. Far too many plot holes and bad acting. Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor was a half-assed impersonation of Heath Ledger's outstanding performance as Joker in The Dark Knight.

But forget all that for a moment and consider that he and David S. Goyer bastardized most of the plot from The Dark Knight Returns and Superman IV among other DC stories.

I mean, Lex Luthor mixing his DNA with Kryptonian DNA? Been there done that in the crapfest called Superman IV. Doomsday was a pretty badass character until Hack and company got their mitts on him.

I'll end this on a positive note that the best performance in the movie was Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman. That was a great casting choice which makes me doubt that Snyder had anything to do with it.

And although I've posted this pic elsewhere...
