Traveling all weekend and today. If I get to a wifi spot today I'll update, otherwise probably first thing in the morning.

SP, I'm curious. If Nissa gets hit in the air, will she get a controlled fall (like the harpy did, so it seemed) or is it AAAAAA-SPLAT! Not that she has the HP for a >100 ft fall, but would having wings somewhat control the fall, such as taking half fall damage or an extra 10/20/30/?? feet of safe fall before the dice enter the picture?

Nissa has never flown in a mortal body before, so I'm okay with her not knowing (and by extension, me not knowing) if you prefer that. I figure since you're basing Nissa's flight on pixies, C&C has a ruling for that.

I'm picturing Baldhart catching the orc's arrow, then immediately going into some kind of cocky zen-warrior monologue, stroking her ego (which she will do any time a DEX check actually succeeds) while attempting to diffuse the situation. She's expecting Liadan to translate her rant, oblivious to arrows flying, large men charging…

To a person that trusts no one, leaving valuable and rare weapons laying around, doesn't sound very smart.

(Yes, his bow is priceless, but the scimitar is pretty useful too. One more chance to strike for double(next level triple damage) is very important.)

Bressel is more like Baldhart on the subject. He believes he can hold his own, until he can grab an orc weapon.

Bressel didn't trust that Orc's didn't speak our language, so he only hinted at actions. He also knows that in a short period of time, Aliron would have an even better a shot with the bow. (dusk)

Yeah. I'd hate for the party to lose our stuff. Hopefully, the CHA check and word choices will help.

Of course I roll a good deflect missile roll now! I wonder if I can roll like that in actual combat. (Well... Baldy did dodge the lightning, so 10% odds are worth rolling at least.)

Is the camp visible from where we are? I got the impression it wasn't. If that is the case, I don't think anyone not heading into camp will be able to hear Bressel's singing (not to mention how awkward it would make negotiations if someone keeps singing over them).

No, between the hills and trees the camp is not visible from where you are. Only the elves were picking up sounds from it when the guards showed up.

Bressel sings until they get to where they are going. Then stops. It tells the group he's ok(no ambush), and a general idea of how far and which direction it is. If his voice fades out, the group will know it is some distance. A loud bass singer can be heard from quite a distance.
Also it tells the camp he is not nervous to be walking into a camp with no weapons. (Should have added he was smiling as he sang.)

If it is intimidating(barbarian) to the camp, sorry. He is just a loud happy man singing a song.

This game is proof that barbarians have both brawn and brains.

I hope everyone in the States had a good Thanksgiving. Got back yesterday and was slammed with deadlines. I actually got up at 2:30 this morning to get into the office to work on them. I'll post an update when I get home tonight, after which I intend to fall unconscious for twelve hours.

OK, working up an update now (got home around 9PM last night and passed out before I got anything done, including that laundry that won't seem to do itself).
