Just a friendly reminder: During battle, please roll your intended action but don't post the result. You may think you failed and be pleasantly surprised… or you may think you killed and miss completely. I keep the ugly math behind the scene, but there is a solid system that determines hit/miss/damage, and in opposed rolls such as grapples, it's possible for the lower roll to win if the grapplers are not equals.

Shield Bash and Bold-Hearted Charge:
In case it's unclear, the shield maiden and amazons both have charge attacks that work when 5-7 spaces from an opponent. Both attacks do normal damage in addition to an effect. The shield maiden's charge always stuns, while the amazon's charge has other effects under the condition that a weak attack will not stun.
@Ireth, since you wanted to change the attack, I assume you thought the shield bash inflicted less damage than a normal attack. That's not the case. I updated the description on the Heroes thread to clarify it's a blade strike (damage) in addition to a shield bash (stun effect).

Sugarplum Fairies
I replaced the wisp with "sugarplum fairies." After writing about pixies swarming as a collective (in the ABC challenge), I thought it might be fun to include that type of pixie.

I'm reading Feast of Crows (on page 700 now), and nearly 100 pages ago I read a scene with Victorian Greyjoy as the POV character. For some reasons, most of the POV characters are introduced by a nickname. So in big, bold letters, I saw The Reaver as a POV character! He does not disappoint.
But he's in a GRRM book and awesome, so he's probably doomed.
I don't plan to kill him off, but George Martin might. Be careful, Reaver!

Update: Rather than have a sticky with the Hero Sandwich Shop, I'll have certain items available at certain points in the game. I just noticed all of the food images are GONE.
But I'll still use the idea, and I can look at the deleted thread and reference some of the foods if need be. The bonus effects are all meant in good fun anyway, but I'll try to give you opportunities to get food and drink during the RP time between episodes.
Here's a question for all you players: How do you like surprises?
I'm leaning toward making food effects a surprise, but one you roll for. (That way, I can have a variety of foods and bonuses, but just have a table that takes main course, choice of beverage, sides, and dessert into consideration.) There wouldn't be a bad roll—maybe just 1 is bad (especially puffer fish!), and for anything served with alcohol, you RP drunkenness if you roll 5 or less (9 or less for the strong stuff)—or a sugar high if you're a pixie who ate something sweet.
The short version: you just eat, and I tell you the result.
EDIT - @Reaver and Phil, remember poor Hanako choking on every Health Roll? That's what I'm thinking for when you roll a 1, but no HP loss. Just RP gagging on food, hating the taste, etc. and there's no benefit. The puffer fish, which is deadly in real life, would be the only food to have a negative effect for rolling a 1.

It seems like the party is ready to move.
I won't give anything away… how you approach the enemy is entirely up to you. You won't be able to roll for attack without seeing what's on the map, however. What you can do is coordinate movement so two people take the ladder at once. (It's more like steep stairs than a ladder.)
What I should know about climbing order: who's first, second, third on each side. So, 1st/left, 1st/right, 2nd/left… (1L, 1R, 2L… for short)

I think the top three or four characters on the series might be safe, in the book, the author can kill anyone.
HBO might not like the viewers favorites to die. (I think Arya, Tyrion, Dany are safe.)
I might think Snow would be...but he did take a few hits from cupid this last season.

She and her sister used fake names in book 4, so the POV name came up as "The Cat in the Canals" for the last Arya scene I read. And I'll leave it at that.
