EDIT- Yeah, like she^ said.

Heal both. You could PM extra rolls, and say, "If the wounded don't rise, I check for a pulse and try again. I stop once both are up." (So the rolls you PM don't happen if the wounded get up and you don't waste additional spells on a dead person—though I suppose it's best to use the magic once, then check for a pulse, since pulse-checking may cost you a [literally-] last-second save.) If you have rolls totaling 10 HP for one person, s/he should be up by then since -10 is death.)

Okay, so I'd treat the next roll like a readied action? "If Grim's wife still needs it, this roll is for her; if not, Liadan will move on to Joffur", sort of thing? I don't even know what HP these characters are at, so it's hard to judge how much healing they need.

Yes. In theory you never know the characters' HP, just how "better than before" they look like. You can always heal until you stop seeing their souls attempting to flee their moribund bodies, or when they get able to move again—not necessarily to leave them at full HP yet.

@LS
Hah, faster than you because Mauve is a ninja! Until she attempts to sneak away from them again and roll another ridiculous number.

True. But I don't recall seeing a description of if they're even conscious or not, so even that is tricky. "Able to move" could take two HP, or it could take eight.

Valar Lord
Yes. So, leave it rolled if you wish.

By the way I don't think we were even inside the Crow yet... I only recall reading about the window being open. =P

Yes yes. It'll happen as you said if no one jumps on you with a frying pan. You can never know... xD

The Nissa-McBarker conversation is meant to stall so we can do everything. Steerpike will tell us if we failed to complete all actions, but the idea is that even as Liadan is up, NPCs are hopefully going down and hopefully Burnbright is convinced to go down the rope and not keep her word to the gnolls. I say just roll enter-window-and-heal as attempted actions.

I was thinking I'd take Mauve's "offer to help Liadan climb" as "help her climb through the window", if that's okay with Nihal. ^^

It was on the cliff, actually, but if you wish...

Mauve: *pushes Líadan through the window*
Líadan: *falls face first on the floor*

:x

Good thing the "help" wasn't on the cliff, then.

Mauve: *pushes Líadan*
Líadan: "Aaaaaaaaaah!" [3d6] *crunch*

Oh, stahp. D: I spend enough time imagining ways my characters could be grievously injured in this fight, I don't need any help. XD

On another note, I realized a possible factor of why Cadell's been so irritable lately -- he hasn't "gotten any" (if you know what I mean) in what may very well by now be weeks. Even since Liadan's been here, since they spent their rest period actually resting (and learning spells, but still, no nookie). XD

Before I make a joke I'll regret, I'll keep this post asexual: you might wanna PM your intentions to SP regarding the healing (if you haven't already). I PM'd Nissa's continued stalling attempts, her WIS checks for surveying the area, and Baldy's STR rolls assuming we can get to the boats without incident.

Well, trouble is I still haven't decided what to do yet. ^^; I don't know nearly enough about the situation to make a very good decision regarding who to heal and when; even the decision to heal Grim's wife first was a wild guess. For all I know, Joffur needs Liadan's care even more, and is losing HP as we keep acting.

Wasn't Aldar down in the boats? Did he come up and in the kitchen? o_O

Cadell was in the boat, you either talk to him or are inside the kitchen, heh.

@Nihal, good point about confusion. I edited Baldy's post so the climb and in-boat part are in spoiler tags. If a GM post puts us in the boats, it happens, like, for real. If gnolls barge in and kill us, well… it's an 'if-only' mental image of a dying woman.

Still hoping when the GM post indicates Nissa sees the party exiting, it means we out, so the in-tavern bit is retro-ish… but just the same I thought it best to edit my post until a GM post says we're moving.
