Also, I just thought of something. This could be the perfect opportunity for Cadell to come across Keit, if she perhaps wandered down into the tunnel on her own out of curiosity. What say you, Steerpike?

Keit meets Nod coming the other way… no, probably shouldn't do that. He'd scare her off. Or misdirect her. Or something.

Edit: my time i up for the day so ill be back tomorrow. im only allowed an hour on weekends so don't move the RPG too fast. i can catch up easilly but it would be awkward with big gaps until monday.

Gah and with me crashing a wedding on prom night.... why do i let my friends pull me into these things?

Special thanks to Nihal for RP'ing via PM, Steerpike for telling me that the skull Baldy grabbed from the shaman counts as a helm (though it may be something more—Baldy wouldn't know), and to Phil for giving me the okay on Nod's departure scene.

Heheh. Maybe more like the dwarves -- Bilbo was on top of the barrel, not inside it. At least Cadell's barrel is open. XD

Yes, in the barrel was what I had in mind. Which is not only more comfortable than being on top of it, it's probably also more comfortable than lying flat on the table. At least if the barrel ships some water, you'll be getting it around your feet, not your face.

We're all RP'ing out of chronological order, but once players decide they're on shore, don't forget Baldhart offered Goodberries.

To the new girl, thanks for choosing Goodberry as a spell. My character will complain about the taste, but I appreciate having a second healer. Just let my character use up her Goodberries first. They're going to go bad soon.

I think Algernon still needs 4. Anyone else? Is Ankari still damaged from before? Cadell? Reply to Baldy if you're wounded!

Cadell's fine. He wasn't really hurt in the fight, and even if being in the cold water cost him HP, he might have regained them when he warmed up again.

Don't forget that goodberries make you feel like you've eaten a full meal: Ration saving, haha!

They're good for 24 hours after being collected (by a 1st-level druid, at least). Hiljikki picked them a few hours ago; not sure exactly how many. It was the same "day," at least. Don't think it's been more than 6-8 hours, though it would require digging back through the thread to find out for sure.

Keep in mind that the druid needs to have berries to pick (it can only be cast on freshly-picked ones) in order to cast this spell. Which means that it doesn't help a lot when you're underground. Need to plan ahead with this one.

This might also explain the flavor issues Baldhart's been having. Not many berries grow in the winter, and normally holly isn't on most people's recommended dining list. (They are in fact mildly toxic, though the spell takes care of that part at least. It would take more than a few to make an adult human sick anyway.)

Another good thing to keep in mind is that no one can benefit from more than 8 berries in a single day.

Nope, he got Rydh to fix him up before rowing back. So he's good for now.

Oh, okay… I didn't notice Rydh roll his healing spell, but then, I couldn't access the forum from work so I could have easily overlooked a post when I caught up—especially since Sparkie uses Unseen Servant. I tend to overlook those rolls unless, of course, they're from Steerpike and my character is under attack.

Baldhart's kind of a meat-and-potatoes woman, but she never tried a fresh goodberry. Maybe she'll like them better.


EDIT - It says "max 8 HP per day" on the spell list. Does that mean 8 HP's worth is the most you can eat in a day?

Essentially. You can eat more (you wont' throw them up)… they just won't help.

So that's the secret to making Ankari shut up and be nice. Just add water! XDDD
