Readers are the Nicest People

So my wife is doing one or two book clubs a week these days. Either by Skype or in person. We live near a very large, literate city, so a lot of them are in person.

Anyways she goes to a book club a couple of days ago, and the ladies of this book club have baked her this amazing cake that looks exactly like the cover of her book. Unbelievably accurate and beautiful.

There is no end to the kindness of literate strangers.

Although, if someone included my book in a book club, I would also cry. If someone read and enjoyed my book, I would cry.

It is not just you. My wife came close and when I saw the photos so did I.
