Hi, I wrote my first story before I could write (tape recorder). It was about a "carefree" princess in a "carefree" kingdom, and probably the only story I ever finished! I love to read fantasy and hope to find some inspiration here, and maybe some good tips on getting past the first chapter/scene.

There are lots of threads concerning getting started, getting past writer's blocks, and getting bogged down/bored. You should check those out and then just start writing.

I find just starting to write and not stoping until I have at least four five hundred words down to be a good way to help with that. at any rate, welcome! we expect to hear from you in the show case.
