So recently was pay day (Whoooooop!!!) and I felt I should investigate purchasing an ebook reader. Any suggestions as to a reliable make? Also I'm unsure whether to go for a tablet or a plain ebook reader.

For tablet, if you can still get a Nook HD+ from Target or some place, that's hard to beat for value. For a plain e-ink reader, look at the Kindle Paperwhite. I've come to like both styles of reader. If you read outside in sunlight a lot you probably want the e-ink display. Also cheaper. But with the tablet I mentioned you can buy from multiple sources and read various formats on the same device.
