Brief Description:
Ravnitz is located in the northeast corner of the empire, in the Viscounty of Eszertrikvegn, in the County of Chalyert, in the (Formerly Electoral) Archduchy of Eszerthagn—the archduke having been elevated to Emporer in Adomru, Year 372 and transferring the Electoral dignity elsewhere. The barony has a long and distinguished history within the empire… which is something of a mixed blessing, as its best lands have been worked for centuries with little opportunity to renew themselves. Nevertheless, it is one of the empire’s premier producers of turnips, parsnips, and catnip (along with some more marketable herbs), is blessed with good drainage, and has working quarries of stone and lime, as well as unexploited surface deposits of both; it is known that there is tin deep within its hills as well. A greater than average scattering of lesser aristocracy helps provide extra income and, perhaps more importantly, provides a good portion of the barony’s military needs, keeping costs down.

To reaffirm the barony's dedication to the Earth Mother, Baron Alecsander orders that the small church in Szilidro be expanded hoping that it will counteract any bad omens the peasantry believes occurred.

Due to a number of Ravnitzian troops serving in the Archduke of Eszerthagn's army, Baron Alecsander orders a city wall to be built around the town of Szilidro and for the baronial keep to be expanded to a Castle to better defend his and his own.
