TheCatholicCrow

I was working as a web designer for awhile. Lately, I've been ghost writing. IN recent years I have shifted from being all over the place to a heavier focus on the Thriller/Mystery genres. I still love dragons as well as the freedom that comes with reading/writing Fantasy and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Eventually, I'll do a cross genre blend a Fantasy Thriller.

In college I majored in Religious Studies (w a particular emphasis on Film, Christianity, and Medieval History) and Minored in Cultural Anthropology.

Why "TheCatholicCrow"?

I'm Catholic. It's no secret and I really don't care who knows. This is my standard screen name because I am far too absent minded to remember more than one. You can find my blog (by the same name) on blogspot if you're interested in reading some excerpts of what I write.

I adore vigilante film which naturally includes "The Crow" (graphic novels and comic spin-offs as well). If you're not familiar with the series ... it blends vigilantism with a spin on Siberian Shamanism. The Shaman astro-projects as a bird which can fly around and observe the world on his behalf. I find O'Barr's use of pre-existing cultural beliefs and practices to be wonderfully inspiring and something about it has stuck with me ever since (IDK it probably helps that 90% of the film's soundtrack was music I already adored.)

When I'm not freelancing, reading, writing, trolling my family, or watching documentaries and foreign film, I'm working on learning new languages (hopefully this will someday include Anglo-Saxon) and picking up random archaic skills (I'm currently learning how to spin wool!).

I think my bio covered it :)
