I am a coffee-powered, keyboard-pounding word machine. I have a fondness for science fiction, fantasy, shady characters, and alliteration. I love a good tragedy. I like to write terrible things. And also terribly funny things. And surprising things. I always strive to keep my readers on their toes.

When I'm not writing, I'm often creating it other ways. I paint, sew, knit, crochet, make jewelry, and otherwise dabble. I'm like a mad scientist, but with art supplies instead of body parts.

And of course, I love reading. I read while I eat, while I wait for my tea to brew, when I'm stuck in waiting rooms, when I can't sleep. If I'm not engaged in creating something, I'm probably consuming things other people have created.
