I also took the Futurelearn course in the spring. I found it challenged some of my "barriers" when it came to writing. But it is fairly basic. I enjoyed it though.
As for Coursera, I hadn't thought of checking them out for writing courses. I'll definitely take a look - thank you ALB2012. :)
All three books are on my to-be-bought list - the Emotion Thesaurus, and the Positive and Negative Trait Thesaurus's. They really do look like very useful resources.
