One of my friends wrote a beautiful, sad story about zombies. Instead of these undead being ravenous and wild, they were lethargic and so close to death that they were barely able to function. It was as if they were deathly sick. They would just walk around, lost and crying. I thought that was...
Hi everyone,
I'm currently writing a screenplay / story that involves a very group of superstitious people.
What are some in-the-home superstitions you have heard? Or in certain careers are there superstitions you've heard of?
How do I make the reader feel the nervous feeling that one...
God forbid if I give a recommendation about one mythologist, it's the end all be all.
Of course go to the source of the myth. But what if that doesn't make sense to you? What if you wonder WHY one culture has a mythology based on animals, and the other based on cosmology? How has this myth...

I don't think it's cliche at all: you see this type of village all over Peru and Ecuador. There's a lot of llama herding, and from this comes elaborate weaving. Even the children have teddy bears...

*grabby hands*
Joseph Campbell's lectures are all on spotify--not all but a good hour and a half or so of lecture.
Great when you're cooking or driving. Or just want to know how myths are formed/their purposes...
I think this is a difficult concept, but in a sense it has been done with people entering the internet or cyberspace. With TRON, I understand that there is a grid, so there is an end, but I wouldn't mind if there was a constantly growing part of it. I guess you have to explain what is making it...
