I have my first final exam tommorrow, and I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. I mean, apparently, I have at least some idea what I'm doing since I haven't killed a patient (yet), but I feel like it's not enough to pass. And I have a really big urge to play dead.
My biggest problem too are dialogues, especially long dialogues that go on for quite some time and/or involve more than two people, like a council meeting or something along those lines. I always feel like my dialogues become too forced and unnatural in those scenarios. But I had this problem...
My workplace is for both (nurse)school and (hobby)writing, so... there are endless stacks of papers and books lying around, some with notes on dementia, some with notes on elves, and a lot of scribbles. The only free space on my dest is where my keyboard lies.
I spend most of the time in my...
Thank you both! I'm happy that I got everything right, I'm a little perfectionist, so I looked up a lot about maps and geography (I even started with where the tectonic plates lie under this specific part of my world)
Shading and making the impression that it only connects in the rainy times of...
In my head, the south-eastern part of the island is pretty high and has cliffs instead of shores, so I thought it would be logical that the river found some lower point there and filled it up, while the evaporation prevents it from spilling over.

(I should really focus more on my finals than doing this... but geralt and my skyrim...
First I find out how I want them to sound. Skandinavian, asian, german, or completly made up ith no connetction to our real world? Then I start with any name that comes to my mind that fits there, and write it down. Then I just play with the letters, change them, the constellation, etc., until I...
"A Dawn of Dragonfire" by Daniel Arenson. I wanted to read more books with dragons in them because I want to use them myself and wanted to get accustomed with differents way of seeing and using them.
I've only read the first 100 pages, but til now, I would say it's not good, but not too bad...
Hard to decide.
"You mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky."
A quote repeated many times in different variations in the witcher-books from Andrzej Sapkowski. I just really like the tone of it, and how perfectly it blends into the story.
Also from the witcher...
Greetings, my fellow fantasy-enthusiasts.
To breifly introduce myself, my name is Noxius, and it has been for quite some time, at least for all my writing-related accounts on the world wide web, and I am 18 years old. I've been writing for quite some time, I've started when I was 11 with...
