I'm a socially awkward teenage writer who is a proud Hufflepuff, loves mac and cheese and smoothies (but NOT the healthy kind), and visits reality only for research purposes. I just began rewriting and revising my third novel, and i'm working on a new one, which I suppose should make me feel like a writer, but half the time I just feel like an awkward dragon adorably misusing a writing utensil, as per my avatar. I have anxiety (which sucks) and Asperger's (which I wouldn't fix if I could, although it sometimes sucks too.) Sometimes I wonder how normal people think. Haha...it doesn't sustain my curiosity long. Yes, i'm a bit weird and a bit of a drama queen at times, but try to just roll with it. ;)

I write weird, quirky, genre-bending stuff that often combines fantasy with dystopian, historical fiction, sci-fi, horror and whathaveyou. My stories are always character driven and exploring human relationships, usually creepy, and often include dragons. My last book was a steampunk/dystopian urban fantasy; my next is a historical magical realism novel with horror elements. They refuse to stay within genres for some reason...but i like them the way they are.

Writing is my life. Reading. Being around books generally. Obsessed with Star Wars & Harry Potter.
