Don't know too much about that. I think things are post-moderated [so you can post and then if someone complains or if a Mod sees something, then there is Mod-activity]. One of the Mods will leap in if I have that wrong.
I think posts should appear almost instantly. I don't know if there are any...
Hail and well met SMAndy from the UK.
Good to have you here.
Leap on in and enjoy.
There are a lot of interesting things and some wonderful people to be discovered within the Halls of Mythic Scribes.
Hail and well met TheStranger
Be no Stranger at all.
Take off your pack.
Pull up a seat.
Kick off your boots and warm your toes [those are toes? Right?] by the fire.
I suppose you can start with what the Egyptian culture you are interested in does have, and how that can be made fantastical...
Didn't they, at one time, believe that a giant dung beetle pushed the sun through the sky?

Good to have you here.

Hail and well met Princessbljack
Good to have your here.
I'm know as CupofJoe and I'm neither a cup nor a Joe so no-one sweats a real name here. And I really hope that some of the avatars are are life portraits. If they are, there are far too many cats that can type for my liking...
Hope you...
Hail and well met fiera43 [aka Kayden]
Good to have you here.
Everyone writes in the way that works for them. You can learn how others do it, but eventually you will find your own way.
Leap on in and don't be shy.
[okay I get the fiera bit now, but what about the 43? :p]
I've just finished watching a programme on the Great Fire of London...
They talked about houses going from unburnt to ashes in as little as a few minutes at the height of the fire. So I don't think a barricade wouldn't last long once it was alight. If they can get the water on soon enough, then...
Hail and well met Stone Lazarus of California
Good to have you here
We try to make this place a sort of home from home for weary writers
Pull up a seat and rest a while
