I live in Australia, land with 1000 deadly animals, and I decided to study plant ecology, which puts me out in their front doorstep pretty often. Not exactly clever, which is probably a good insight into my personality!
I've always enjoyed writing, but have drifted back and forwards over the years. In the last two years, I've put a concerted effort into actually writing something substantial. I find writing creative prose is a nice antithesis to the succinctness of science
