I have training in the social services field. I planned to get a master's in counseling when a tragedy permanently changed my focus. I learned to write because of that tragedy...my brother murdered his neighbors. I dropped out of my master's program, so I could help my parents through it all. It was horrendous. It took me twelve years to get the book published. The publisher altered the book too much, further victimizing me. I switched to fiction. I became a better writer. I learned what I was writing was considered fantasy because people who are deceased are still in the stories. I came here to learn to write better, more imaginative fantasy.
