I would change the spelling or pronunciation.

In my opinion, anything can be made to sound real. Your writing is your universe...what you say goes. You create the rules.

I hate it when people try too hard to "be cool," it's so pointless. People should just be themselves.

I like the one about finding and making time to balance between outside duties and writing. That's something I need to work on. I also like the poetry as prose topic =) And dreams definitely do give us inspiration.

I enjoy writing short stories; I haven't in a while though. Whenever I would write short stories for an old class, the feedback was always the same: it would sound more like the first chapter of a book rather than a short story.
