Merepeople

In keeping with the ideas I first explored in the Orkhes I wanted the Merepeople to be more fishlike, while still being relatable, and possibly attractive. The "hair" is more like tentacles, the ears close underwater to better pick up sonar, and the tail is vertically oriented like a fish. Depending on which part of the world they call home Merepeople can be anything from dull grey and white to patterns and colors that rival any tropical fish.
