Pen and Ink illustration I entered into the LOTR convention in Pasadena California back in 2005. This piece almost won I was told. lol...ahhh well. What can ya do eh? On an up note, on the back of its original matte board, it is signed by John Rhys-Davies (Gimli). I was chuffed to bits, because I just loved his character. I was also chuffed, that he was enamored with it so much, he wanted me to give it to him hahaha!! I said, but how could I possibly give it away now kind sire? lolol....it has been signed by the famous John Rhys-Davies. He laughed so big, and so deep, it caught everyone's attention, including my friend Lucy who couldn't run to my side quick enough lol. I will treasure that memory, and this piece for always. I will never sell it.
